Seattle Spring dart leagues are well underway.
The dart team has split yet again. I’ve stayed with our defending “B” league champions, Chips, while Gary Meyers moved up to “A” league play with Dart Matter.
Currently Chips is in second place behind Who Darted. We play out of Cooper’s Ale House every Wednesday night. Dart Matter also sits in second place in their division, represents Cooper’s too and plays Thursday nights.
There’s typically about 40 players per league. Gary’s currently 10th in A league and I’m, let’s just say, working my way up the standings in B league.
Gary reports that the A league has better team names, specifically the Roach Motels, league powerhouse Aucham’s Razor, Knarr-cosis (representing the Knarr Shipwreck Lounge), and what has to be the all-time favorite, the No Talent Ass Clowns.
Dart Matter played well all season but got “steam-rolled” tonight by the Roach Motels in the first round of the A-league playoffs. We lost 13-6! It was a humbling experience since we dominated the Roaches during the regular season. Sometimes you are the Bear and sometimes you get eaten by the Bear. Tonight we got eaten! We’ll get them in the next time!
